I understand that the right approach is to ask genuine customers for honest feedback, and that’s what I want to focus on. The challenge is that a new business with very few reviews can sometimes seem less trustworthy to people who are deciding whether to call, book, or make a purchase.

I’m not interested in fake reviews, sudden suspicious spikes, or copied five-star comments. I’m looking for practical, legitimate ways to encourage more real customers to leave reviews over time, without putting the Google Business Profile at risk.

Has anyone found effective methods, tools, or services that helped increase the number of genuine Google reviews? Did it improve customer trust or local visibility?

Google Play search is highly proprietary algorithm biased, you cannot for example search for a keyword "watermelon" - it will not give you all apps about watermelons, it will be ASO optimized (which is what I call proprietary algorithm).

It's frustrating and I'm thinking about some alternatives, do you know any?

I mean - maybe someone already indexed, maybe not all but most, apps and its descriptions and created a ln alternative search engine?
