I recently ordered a pair of the fleece kickbooty yoga pant ( or at least that’s what they were listed as) and I LOVE THEM!!!!!! I have rainier joggers and they’re great for running but these kickbooty pants are so good for walking in the cold! I keep seeing the altitude edge fleece pant for resale, and I’m wondering if it’s the same soft plush as the kickbooty, or if it’s the lighter fleece like rainier? Just to be clear these altitude pants are newer ones without polartec. Are there any other recommendations for super soft plush fleece pants from Athleta? They do it best! Thanks!

I applied for graduate school in 2022 and was accepted into a small state school in the US for a stem PhD. Even when I was applying, my undergrad advisor told me to be prepared because we were entering times of uncertainty, and when that happens more people are drawn to grad school. I felt like it was competitive back then. I can’t imagine how it is after all the funding cuts in the US, and the fact that so many fields in academia are over saturated. I am curious how yall are doing? Do “safe schools” (AKA a school you apply to because you know you’ll get in) still exist? I always assume if I was applying now I probably wouldn’t get in with how competitive I imagine it is. Curious to know the state of affairs from people actually going through it. I hope it’s not as bad as I imagine!
