returns/refund confusion!
My partner surprised me with a hoodie and a shirt as a gift from Cool Shirtz and used the COLDONES discount code at checkout.
Unfortunately, both items are too large for me. I want to return them for a refund and then place a new order with the correct sizes, since I know Cool Shirtz doesn’t offer direct exchanges.
The problem is that when I try to start the return, it says that discounted items can’t be returned. 😭
Does anyone know if there’s a way around this? the shirt was on sale so i understand that can’t be returned but the hoodie wasn’t — we just used the COLDONES discount code at checkout. It seems a bit strange that using a standard discount code would mean I can’t return the items for a refund, especially when their own policy says that if you need a different size, you’re supposed to return the item and place a new order.
Has anyone had this happen with Cool Shirtz, and were they able to get customer service to approve the return anyway? i would really appreciate any advice! since these pieces have been on my wishlist for ages but i just won’t be able to wear them in this size :(
