Cantabria/Asturias Road Trip Recs

Hi! My partner and I are planning to go up to the Cantabria and Asturias region in a couple weeks. We have a general itinerary / route but are looking for recommendations for things to see along the way! We are interested in easy hikes, beaches, lakes, small charming cities and in seeing some cows lol. Also if you have any campsite recommendations those are greatly appreciated!

Our itinerary goes:

  1. Bus into Burgos midday, pick up a car and drive up to Playa de Arija to stay the night
  2. Llanes/ coastal area for two days (this is where we need most pointers for things to do)
  3. Drive down to Los Picos to camp for a night
  4. Back to Burgos and travel back home

So if you have any midway points we should check out or suggestions (or critiques of our route!) let us know. 😄

Hello! I'm a Peruvian-American that has been working in Spain for the past two years as a Language Teaching Assistant. I have been applying to several international schools here in Spain but am looking for any further guidance on schools to look into, contact information (I'm having a hard time finding emails for more direct contact with schools) and just general advice for someone who is starting their teaching career and wants to get their foot in the door.
