Hello all,
I have some foreign contractors in Honduras that we have been paying through Deel but as of lately, we have been wanting to localize the payment system and cut out the middleman on principle. I have been doing to research and determined that it is common to file forms W8BEN or W8ECI to exempt withholding. However, there are no tax treaties between the US and Honduras, which is a bit discouraging as, from my research, we will have to withhold income taxes unless such an arrangement is in place. How can we set up this work arrangement?
Any information on this matter will be greatly appreciated.
