Recurring bathroom dream
I used to have this dream almost every night when I was a kid. I would walk from some building up a sidewalk and into a bathroom. There were no doors on the stalls, and there was no ceiling. The lighting was very warm. It kind of reminds me of like a public bathroom at a campground, but with no ceiling. It was always nighttime out, and there were so many stars. I always felt fine when I would first enter the bathroom, but after some time, I would start to get really really anxious and scared. It felt like someone or something was watching me, but there was never anyone there. Once I would be right on the verge of full-blown panic, I would be pulled up into the air. Straight up. I would be so scared, and I could feel everything from the drop in my stomach as I was quickly lifted up, to the air, whooshing past my body. I was always looking either down into the bathroom as I went higher and higher, or I would be looking up into the sky while the stars got closer and closer. But then I would just drop and start falling. Then I would wake up. It scared me every single night for at least a year. It was always the same.
I wonder if anyone sle has ever had a similar dream. I have only had it a couple of times as an adult.
