I suddenly woke up with a more severe ringing and fullness in my ears than I ever had before in the middle of the night does anybody know what that could be? I got honked at right behind me yesterday and that’s the only thing I can think of that could have caused it. I did have peltor x5a on.
Hi I was wondering why my 3 hour flight spiked my tinnitus when I had peltor x5a earmuffs on the whole time. There was a toddler behind me screaming occasionally. I’ve done a 13 hour flight to and from Tokyo were I didn’t wear any hearing protection and it didn’t spike my tinnitus before but this did.
Hi I was wondering has anybody gotten an otoscope done and it made their tinnitus worse? I’m weary of anything going in my ear and want to know if otoscopes are ok or not.
Hi I was looking for some advice on if I need to be wearing earmuffs all of the time to protect my ears? I first got my tinnitus two months ago. Recently I started wearing earmuffs to protect my ears because my dad yelled at me in a car for 5 minutes. Now I wear them for shopping, doctor’s appointments, hikes, etc. I’m scared that if I don’t protect it will make my baseline worse. Should I stop doing this or should I keep going with protection?
Hi I was wondering do regular eye exams without eye dilation with air puff pressure tests worsen eye floaters? I already have eye floaters but I’m worried these tests made it worse.

I was with my father in the car with the windows up and he screamed at me for about 5 minutes at the top of his lungs can this cause a spike? Can this make the tinnitus and fullness permanently worse?
