Harvested some of my garlic today

This is just the soft neck. I still have 2 beds of hard neck that aren't ready for harvest yet. Not sure how much is there I stopped counting at 200 and I was a little less than halfway through at that point. Tomorrow when I'm less exhausted I will spread it all out to cure in the greenhouse instead of leaving it piled in heaps, but that was more work than I was planning to do in 90° heat!

Using garlic scapes

I just did an early harvest from the garden. I've got about 2 cups of sugar snap peas, a pound of new potatoes, and 12 garlic scapes. I plan on parboiling the potatoes, then lightly sauteing them with the snap peas. The question mark is the garlic scapes. Saute them with the rest, or just chop them small and add them raw to the dish after it's cooked? This is my first time growing hard neck garlic, so I've never worked with scapes before.

Platform Decay was so good! All of the Murderbot books are fast paced, but I feel like this one was even more so. It starts with them secretly infiltrating a space station to rescue hostages and just keeps the foot on the pedal for the next 250 pages. A great addition to a fantastic series. I just wish they were longer!

Started February 8TH. I had dug a trench down the middle of this bed, which is about 18 inches tall, and I've been adding soil as they grew. It's hard to tell because they're so lush, but they're hilled another foot above the top of the bed! I started to get flowers now, so if I've read correctly, I'm supposed to stop hilling now, and let them do their thing until they die back completely. Does that sound right to everybody?
