Hi,

My neighbor is from South Africa and he was diagnosed with throat cancer about a month ago. He is undergoing treatment for it, but he is basically limited to soft food right now.

He was born in the early 50s, so would've lived in South Africa between 1950 and 1980. Are there any soft food recipes that were popular in South Africa around that time that I might be able to make for him?

Even current soft food recipes would be helpful.
