I may be late to the party…
But for some reason my video wasn’t being uploaded last night, and after 3 tries, I gave up, TGIF tho'

It may be just me, but I feel like “Las Trancas Taco Stand” on E. Cesar Chavez & Attayac St is not talked about enough on this Sub
Their tacos are always solid, starting with their tortillas, lightly soaked in the same grease they cook the meats, and they stay hot long enough to enjoy your whole order
In the video you can see the Corn Quesadillas plate, which is basically an order of 4 tacos with meat of your choice, but with a crust of cheese in between, so crunchy good
That’s my go-to, and I always order 2 with tripas (“chitlins”) and 2 “Campechanos” (steak and chorizo)
As you can see, it comes with a side of sour cream, lettuce & tomato (the last two I never touch cuz they just don’t go with tacos) and fresh sliced avocado and jalapeños, it’s the bomb
For years I used to go to “El Charly” on N Lamar & Rundberg, but since I “discovered” Las Trancas, I got stuck with it
And before you say this is “paid advertising”, sorry to disappoint you, but this is just the way I like to give reviews when they’re well deserved, you said the same when I recommended Mile High Mo's a couple months ago
I like to eat delicious food, not necessarily fancy, but good enough to give it a shout out
Anyways, I’ll leave the whole menu in the first comment
And if you’re a Las Trancas fan, let me know whats your favorite thing to order
Well, since I missed the rainbow, here’s a pic I took while stuck on the SB I35 Upper Deck earlier this evening
Isn’t it nice to see the contrast between the Texas State Capital still standing strong for over a century, and the Independent (love it or hate it), debuting in the Austin Skyline less than 10 years ago, 7 to be precise
Happy Sunday y’all!
Regarding the incident mentioned on this post:

Seems like the person throwing rocks at cars fell on that gap while trying to escape from the cops, and now it’s the cops trying to rescue him, the irony
This was recorded around 2:15PM, I wonder if they have him out by now
I may post my dash cam footage from earlier when I drove by the ramp to S Congress and it was already blocked by the police, those damn rocks were huge!
EDIT: Ok, I just realized I've been missing the “small letters” on the big overhead menu where it says you can add fries or tots as a side for $4.50 or Onion Rings for $6.50, so the prices I was talking about originally are for actual full (bigger) baskets of such
Sorry for the confusion and thank you for enlightening me, that’s what Reddit is for after all!

I’ve been to Jewboy Burger quite a few times and I really love their burgers, flautas and milkshakes, and their smoky mayo is amazingly good
I was there earlier today and realized I’ve never tried their fries or Tots, mostly because I find the price for something as simple to be way over the average, particularly looking at the size of the portions
Are they really that good to justify the price for the size of portion you get? (Photos taken from their Google Maps page for portion size reference)
Not trying to sound like a hater, I just want to see if it’s just me thinking that about the fries/tots prices, or if I’m not the only one
As if the usual traffic isn’t bad enough already, sprinkle a few drops of rain and voila!!!
Needless to say the line was looong AF!!!
