For me, anything which generates a sound waveform, spontaneous or electronic, can be manipulated and modulated, used like an instrument for musical expression.

Morphing mathematically described magic, out of thin air, how such soundwaves are generated, should be immaterial, as long as they sing the song in your head, interpret our souls.

So, for my songs, I gather my sounds, from where, and how, I can. From nature, from cityscapes, from traditional instruments, from electrons, from any place where air is assimilated, co-opted to enter our ears, as sound.

Spun out from fog of thoughts which gather in my head, leaking into stories and poems, my songs gather an atmosphere around them which I attempt to paint, in song and sound, using whatever I can, to achieve shades and tinctures I need, to reflect the colours in my head.

As a creative tool, in my view an instrument, electronica offers me that very personal palette, which is why it has always fascinated me

In incorporating electronica in this fashion, particularly influenced by electronic dance music, I struggle to categorise my music.  Is it Progressive Electronica? Is it Folk Electronica? Is it a variant of Trance? Is it Ambient?

None of those have the right connotations.

I guess I would call it***: Expressive Electronica:*** Mathematics made music

So, for those who wish to listen, link below, to videos for the tracks I have released so far, on an EP called ‘Where Love leads….’ together with an EP of shorter remixes, to satisfy this snapshot world.

Three interconnected songs, which delve into isoLation, desOlation, reVelation, and rEsolution, to discover a deeper LOVE, which goes beyond desire and day to day frustrations, to a place where souls merge as one, while accepting difference.

Intended as the first in a series of Eps, the next one I am working on, is ‘Where Hate Leads….’
