First Big Hit

First Big Hit

I know it ain’t Sunday but I’m showing off anyway! Just got into collecting Dragon Ball Super cards. Started with FW back in April then switched over to Masters as of July. Opened one box of BT-31 last month and just bought another one this past Saturday. Told myself it would be the last box I buy since price is pretty damn high at $240 with what I spent. Put the kids to sleep, got the chores done around the house, wife was happy and asleep, time for me time. Now this card for sure marks this box as my last box and I was damn shaking. I already know what to do yall. It’s going up there. No need to say it 😂

1.01: Gibbs or Bijan

This might be a dumb questions but I'm stuck and having a good problem. Taking Bijan or Gibbs. Bijan just got paid and Gibbs is still holding out. Most believe that Gibbs hold out wont go into the season but I also hate sitting with that risk. Gibbs is in the better offense with the Lions but does anyone believe that there is a chance that he truly sits until a contract is agreed upon? I'm not familiar with how Stefanski runs his offense but just being a Bijan fan in general I am leaning towards taking Bijan. Anyone else going back and forth on this? I guess you can't go wrong either way but I want to know what peoples arguments are for taking one or the other

Is Social Media is Ruining Current and Future Generations

A common thing that I've noticed is that a lot of the discussion/debates on differing generations have a lot to do with social media and it's impact. Being 36 years old and now having three very young kids of my own, I'm starting to realize that life in the early 2000s feels way better than it was now in that sense. I do fear for my kids when they grow up because of how social media can really drive their fears and how they see/view how they are supposed to be like. I didn't have to worry about that when I was a teen or younger. My friends and I didn't care about clicks or likes or clout. Does Social Media have its pros? Most definitely, but I think now more than ever, being a parent just changes my view on how to parent my kid but also thinking about how the influence of apps such as Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, etc. have affected us as a society. Why does social media mean so much to people in the current generation? Do likes, being viewed or sub count and what not matter that much?
