Home sleep study choice
I am 23, male, fit and healthy. Did blood tests like TSH, fT3, fT4, ferratin, ESR (Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate), C-reactive protein, even blood magnesium (i know it is not a good marker) - everything came back good. I am having problems with energy levels, concentration, emotions, executive functioning etc. I have been diagnosed with ADHD last year but i feel like i wasn't always functioning this bad. I always struggled with following through with large tasks projects that cannot be done in a day - like exams for end of school or making personal projects. But i feel like it has gotten worse. I have low self-esteem, troubles relaxing, low mood, low motivation, needing a lot of sleep like 9-10 hours and feeling like i never feel 100%, dizziness in the morning. I feel like i've been in this state for a while. I jest keeping falling behind where i want to be, see others just living their lives, doing what they wanna do why i constantly struggle with myself and everything feels like effort. I had a sleep study but the one i choose - Philips Alice NightOne - AHI 2.5, detected snoring, saturation avg - 97%, lowest 94%., no RDI measured, no flow limitations info despite using nasal canula, no sleep stages so overall it was a bad study when it comes to detecting UARS. I want to order a second one - NOX T3s (not T3) - it gives you 2 belts that can measure paradoxical breathing, gives info on flow limitations, uses AI algorythms to detect sleep stages and RDI - Vik Veer uses and recommends this one. Another one i am considering is watch pat that uses pat signal to detect RDI, sleep stages, is simpler with less sensors but lacks info on flow limitations and paradoxical breathing.
EDIT: I feel like watch PAT may be more accurate in detecting sleep stages and RDI considering they way it measures it and may be just easier to fall asleep with. I needed 2 nights with the previous sleep study. Maybe RDI, sleep stages with their corresponding numbers will be enough.
