Hi everyone,

Me and my friend both applied for UK Standard Visitor visas from Pakistan on the same day. I applied for a 2 years visa because I previously had a 6 months UK visa before, while my friend applied for a 6 months visa since it was his first time.

We both had biometrics on the same day (7th May) at VFS , mine was at 9:30 AM and his was at 12:30 PM. My friend received his visa in 5 working days, but I still haven’t received any update yet, even though it has been 10 working days now.

Does this delay mean there could be an issue with my application? Has anyone experienced something similar where one applicant got a decision earlier even though both applied together?

Would appreciate any insight. Thanks!
