Kicking myself for not seeing Mexodus sooner

Finally got around to seeing Mexodus for the first time and caught their final performance in NYC today. And now I'm kicking myself for not seeing it earlier in the run so I could go back to see it multiple times and recommend it to all my friends in NYC to go check it out. Such an electrifying performance by both Brian Quijada and Nygel D. Robinson. The level of talent between the two of them is insane. I was amazed by all the different instruments they played and the awesome music they created by live looping sounds from various objects. I found the story moving, the score soulful and fun to listen to, and the overall concept enthralling. I loved this show so much and I think it just might be my favorite musical that I've seen this year so far. I'm going to have to sign up for an Audible account so I can listen to the recording of the show over and over again.

I'm sad that their NYC run is over, but I'm glad the show will be continuing on through their national tour. If you're in one of the cities among their tour stops, do yourself a favor and go check it out. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that the show will return to NYC so I can experience the magic again.

I just noticed that there is currently a flash sale running on TodayTix for Kenrex, which is offering tickets for as low as $39. That is such a steal for being able to watch Jack Holden's incredible (and Olivier-winning) performance.

If you haven't seen the show yet because you were waiting for a drop in prices, this is your chance to go check it out! At the time of writing this post, there are still $39 tickets available for today's performances. So anyone who is unsuccessful at rushing shows today who still wants to see something at a rush price, this could be a good alternative for you.
