I bought this chair for $5 to furnish my crappy grad student apartment, the rattan was already in rough shape but because it was cheap I bought it. I was getting work done and the whole sheet snapped and I feel through the back.

I do like this chair and the rest of it is in pretty good shape so I would like to repair it instead of throwing it out, but I don’t know if I should replace the rattan (and where do I even find that?) or do something else? I’m completely new to furniture repair so I appreciate any and all advice!!
