Hi, I am 39w pregnant with my first baby, and I am quite anxious in general. Not to give birth, on the contrary. I feel like I am being over paranoid regarding baby movements etc.

I went twice to the emergency unit in the 3rd trimester just because I thought that I didn't feel my baby move as much. Turns out he was fine everytime.

I have this unfounded fear that something might go wrong before the natural labor.

I was wondering if anyone here had an elective induction ? What did you say/talk about with the doctor to be able to get it ?

My pregnancy had been very good so far, so there's no actual medical reason to induce me early, except my own fear/anxiety.
