Not a lot to say for this one, aside from the reminder that stock sounds like “YEAH!” and the BFDI scream don’t count, Rocky’s “bleh!”s are counted as lines, and the fun fact that a good 30-40% of Firey’s lines were *not* actually words, but screams.

BFDIA25 overview (that I wasn’t even sure if I would do but ultimately decided I will) coming hopefully before the end of May! Or at least, I’ll make an attempt to not take two months for it like for the last one…

Except I killed the ship tier list and replaced it with an elimination tier list because I thought it would be more interesting, given half of the subreddit doesn’t even care about ships. The only people who will be able to see my updated ship tier list are my Discord friends. What a privilege, am I right?

Other changes are that the episode tierlist had some episodes go down (some of them were admittedly victim of recency bias) and the character tier list is once again a bit more positive then it used to be back when I last made a post like this in November of 2025. At this rate, I’m probably gonna have ten different S tiers in 2027.
Although I don’t think I can bring myself to care too much about most algebraliens besides like… tree of them, but who knows? Maybe TPOT or future subscriber specials will change my mind. Even then, they’re a B-, that’s basically a 6.75/10 at worst, right?

Speaking of the higher tiers, lots of characters went up compared to last time! Everyone say hi to TV for making it to my top ten! And say bye to Tree who seems to fall down my tierlist every time I update it. I don’t dislike him, to be clear, I just enjoy mildly bullying him. Same thing with Pen, he’s technically lower but it’s more of a “I love other characters more now”.

Fun fact about my elimination tier list: all the boy characters in the highest tier were UFE against TB, and in all three cases TB getting out would have been my preferred outcome. Do not be mistaken, I love TB. I just also like to bully him sometimes. Truthfully, I accept most eliminations pretty calmly, the only one I remember getting loudly upset about was Fries in BFDIA19. RIP, king, you would have been awesome. It was still cool to see TB make it to the final three though. TB in the finale would have highkey been peak, but I’ll take what I can get.

My predictions for future changes to my tier lists is that once BFDIA ends I will start glazing its episodes a lot less than I have previously (I used to call myself the number one BFDIA glazer, but the placement of episodes like BFDIA22 and 24 shows it’s not all so perfect) and that I’ll get a newfound appreciation for some of the early TPOT boot characters. I’m already a big fan of Puffball, but I think I might start liking her even more depending on how much screentime she’s able to get in the trilogy. I don’t think my top ten will get big changes, definitely not my top 6, that one is set in stone. I can see maybe Gaty going down, but even that is going to take some work.

Let me know what you think! I know everyone is into that grid tier list now, but I just don’t think it’s worth doing it for me. I prefer good old reliable tier lists.

Here’s u/display’s tierlist and here is another similar prediction I saw a few hours ago! We don’t agree with every placement, but it still felt right to shout it out.

Here’s my previous overview. This is the first time since BFDIA18 I didn’t quote other people’s posts in my overview, and it’s both because there just weren’t many posts I found interesting this time around, and because I had two months to get my thoughts in order, meaning I didn’t need to rely on other people’s words as much.

One or two new posts will be coming next week! One is that contestant winner vote thingy I mentioned in the winner prediction slide, and the other… well, a certain little something is happening on Wednesday. Those who know, know ;D
