Is collab content harder for the YouTube algorithm to push?
Most of my videos are clips/highlights from collab gaming streams with multiple big creators involved, and I’ve started wondering if collab content is actually harder for YouTube to find the audience for.
One of my only videos that ever really got “pushed” was a single-creator clip. It went from around 50 views to 2k pretty quickly, then slowly climbed to around 6k.
Although I’ve noticed that most of my collab videos are never below average statistically — a lot of them are even considered “great” or sometimes outright “insane” compared to my channel averages or even youtube in general.
Most of my recent uploads have matched or even surpassed the stats of the one single-creator video that got pushed before.
I only started around 2 months ago and I’ve uploaded 32 videos so far, so now I’m wondering if I just need to keep uploading consistently until YouTube better understands what my audience is?
