Hi all,

We recently had water damage from a cyclone and the repair people have cut out some of our walls to remove insulation and place dehumidifiers. My question is should I be pushing to have to timber wall frames replaced as it looks like there’s minor mould in them too or would the dehumidifiers have killed it? Also should they have cut out above the windows too as when they did the assessment there was high moisture up there too, you can see where the gyprock got soft and the curtain bracket pulled out. The repair guy said the water all settles at the bottom but I’m concerned it would settle on the top of the window frame too?
