Need some advice for studying in germany

I need some honest advice from people already living/studying in Germany because this is probably the biggest decision of my life right now.
I’m from Pakistan and planning to come to Germany for a Bachelor’s degree in 2026. The reason I’m looking at private universities is because my academic background is not strong enough for public universities. I completed Intermediate with around 55%, and because of that, getting into a public university directly is realistically very difficult for me, especially with the language and admission requirements.
My parents can support me for the first year only. That means:
first year tuition fee (around €10,000)
blocked account
visa expenses
But after that, I’ll mostly have to manage things myself through part-time work.
I know many people will say “don’t go to a private university in Germany,” but for me it’s not really about prestige right now. It’s more about getting a chance to enter Germany, build a life there, improve my German, gain experience, and hopefully create better opportunities later. I’m also thinking maybe after some time I could try transferring to a public university if possible, but I know that’s not guaranteed.
What I want is the honest reality from people actually living there:
Is it realistically possible to survive after first year through student jobs?
Can someone manage living costs + future tuition fees this way?
How hard is visa renewal if your parents can’t fully support you anymore?
Are students actually able to save money from jobs nowadays?
Is transferring from private to public university realistic or mostly just a dream people sell online?
Would you personally take this risk in my situation?
I’m not looking for sugarcoated motivation. I genuinely want realistic advice before making such a huge financial and life decision.

Finished high school, wanted to be a pilot but can’t due to color blindness. Now I feel lost and don’t know what direction to take in life. How do you figure out a path when your main dream is gone?

Should i go for abroad studies for bachelor or masters

I just completed my Intermediate with 57%, and honestly I’m very stressed and confused about my future.

Most of my friends either got good percentages or already know what they want to do, while I still feel stuck. My marks are too low, and because of that I feel like many opportunities are already closed for me, especially for studying abroad.

Right now I’m thinking about whether I should take admission in any university in Karachi, complete my bachelor’s here, build my profile during those years, and then try going abroad for a master’s degree later.

The only thing that makes my profile look somewhat decent is my IELTS score (6.5 bands). Other than that, academically I’m not very strong, and that’s what worries me the most.

I’m interested in hearing real advice from people who had low grades but still managed to build a good future. Is it still possible to recover from this academically and professionally, or do percentages matter forever?

Also, what would you honestly suggest in my situation?

Is Turkey a good option for Bachelor’s if I want to move to Europe later for Master’s?

hello everyone,
i’m a Pakistani student planning to study in Turkey for Bachelor’s in 2026.

My profile:
Intermediate (Computer Science): 55%
IELTS: 6.5
I’m mainly looking at private universities because of my marks.

I wanted honest guidance about:
Which private universities in Turkey are actually good and affordable for international students?
Can students manage living expenses with part-time jobs there?
Is Turkey worth choosing over countries like Malaysia?
If I do my Bachelor’s from Turkey, can I later move to Europe (Germany, Netherlands etc.) for Master’s or work opportunities?
Are Turkish private university degrees accepted in Europe?
Would appreciate honest advice from people already studying there. 🙌

Need an airsoft pistol (without license)

hey guys, does anyone know where I can find a decent airsoft pistol in Karachi or online in Pakistan within a budget of around 3k–3.5k PKR?
I’m not looking for those cheap toy looking plastic ones. It doesn’t need to shoot hard or be professional, but I want something that at least looks realistic and has a decent metal feel if possible.
If you know any shops in Saddar or trusted online websites, drop them below.
