Kitten Twins!

My cat Luna and our foster cow baby (“Tuna”) looked almost identical at 5 weeks old. 🖤🤍 The side-by-side photos are both of them at the same age — Luna is now almost 10 years old, and the baby just turned 6 weeks today.

I’m trying so hard not to keep him because so many people want him already… but he’s basically tiny Luna 2.0. 😭 We already have 8 indoor cats — 2 from rescue groups, 5 from the cat distribution system, and Luna is kind of a hybrid rescue story. Someone found her in a car engine at 4 weeks old, brought her to my vet, and the vet sent her home with me once she was 6 weeks old and eating on her own.

This baby is from a litter of 6 born under our rose bush by a neighborhood stray. We trapped mama using the kittens as bait and brought the whole family inside. We’ve found homes for almost all, and this little cow is at the top of everybody’s list. I already have a waitlist for him in case the adoption falls through. 🥹

Mama doesn’t seem like she’ll adapt well to indoor life, so she’ll most likely be TNR’d after the kittens are weaned and fixed.
