Safe to Drink? (Lemonade mead)
I made a lemonade mead back in the start of January, mostly forgot about it, then had to move last week. Went to see if it was still good to bottle today, but wasn't sure about the safety of drinking it. It was much clearer the first few months after it was made, however, since then it's gotten the hazy look seen in the photo's.
The lowest the airlock ever was is seen in the second photo. It only happened a couple times due to neglect (busy schedule). I'm curious if this might have maybe led to the mead getting contaminated with something.
The mead tastes fine, like a sweet, sugary lemonade, just the change from clear to haze concerns me. First mead I've made and seen do this.
