UISP-FIBER-XGS unavailability
Can anyone from UI's fiber team provide a reasonable explanation for why the XGS CPE hardware is simply just never available?
Similar to the AF11s, your ISP line is in a drought while you continue to launch protect and Unifi products left and right. MLO has been a flop, no competing CBRS, Wifi 6, or Wifi 7 product line for operators to hoist from the obviously dead LTU product line. I have been watching the XGS-PON lineup for the better part of 6 months now. I am seeing chronic unavailability of supply of ONTs and its making me consider rolling with Tibit or something similar. Would love to stick with UI just because we have thousands of CPE in the field on our wireless side but seeing months and months of chronic product supply issues makes me err on the side of caution.
Over a million dollars spent on UI and yet we cannot get the hardware we need most to keep the operation running smooth and growing. Lots of operators in my shoes that are much bigger and lots of operators alot smaller.
Any word before I give up on Ubiquiti for the platform we expand on for our Fiber would be great
