The world has gone mad

My smile has turned sad

Everything good is now bad

Truth cast out for lies

Trust in each other unties

The world around me cries

All vision and no ears

No intelligence just fears

In denial for a hundred years

I was scared of the A bomb

I was worried about fallout and waste

I was troubled by masked guns

I was concerned that one day we'd all burn

I feared all the animals would be eaten

I believed the oceans could swallow us

I thought one day there would be no air

The world has gone mad

My smile is now sad

Everything goods turned bad

I didn't believe that i could be so terrified

So terrified to my core of the human race

It's sad because I am.
