I have a huge discrepancy between my local vault and Obsidian Sync: my local vault is ~500 MB, while Sync is using ~6 GB.

As I understand it, Sync has 12 months history. The problem is that users have no way to manually remove this old data or control what is retained.

Could Obsidian add a way to permanently delete old/deleted/useless files from Sync, or give users some control over Sync storage cleanup?

6 GB of Sync storage for a 500 MB vault seems excessive, and there should be a way for users to manage it.

Please excuse my ignorance, but I'm new to Hermes. I've read a lot of people talking about Hermes, but generally in the context of automating office tasks. However, I sense the potential of this tool, but I can’t quite see how it could be useful to add it to the other research tools I use in my academic work (writing essays, conducting research, etc.). Is this possible? How can I do something like that? Or am I using Hermes incorrectly and should I use another tool instead?
