Audio setup upgrade with 4.4mm option (DAC/AMP).
For a while now, I’ve been wanting to upgrade my audio setup, specifically my DAC/AMP. I’ve been using a K5 Pro on my PC for around three years, but lately I’ve been needing a 4.4mm output and no longer need its mic input.
I did some research and, based on my budget (~$200) and the fact that I’m living in Brazil right now, which has insanely high import taxes (around 92%), I found a few options that can be bought locally via Aliexpress without those extra costs.
The options are:
First option: F Audio ZH3 — sell the K5 Pro and use this as my DAC/AMP instead.
Second option: Fiio K11 — same idea as above, although at a higher price (~$260), not sure if it's worth the difference.
Third option: F Audio GR70 — keep the K5 Pro solely as a DAC and use the GR70 as an amp. I’ve been very curious about trying a tube amp, and the price is very attractive and it would solve my need for 4.4mm. As pointed out in the comments, the GR70 doesn't have a 4.4 output.
What would be the best move? I also accept other recommendations but I would have to look if they are available locally.
