Massive news from my new business venture. I posted on here the other day to announce that I have set up a new Travel Agency that focuses on planning and booking ‘mystery trips’.
I am now very proud to announce I own the official domain for; EnigmaticEscapes.co.uk
I put a little more information regarding the business in my previous post but a rough explanation is we book a complete trip package, ranging from days away all the way up to a week.
Every part of it is pre planned and where possible booked. This is everything from car parking, restaurant bookings, accommodation, activities etc.
The best part, it’s presented to you through a series of envelopes that contain step by step clues and instructions to lead you on your trip. You will never know where the next stop will be.
I can plan a cheap day out for you and your friends, bowling, a museum, restaurant, live comedy. Just to name a few examples.
Or I can even plan a more comprehensive trip for you and your partner. A nice drive up to the Yorkshire dales, stopping at a castle on the way. Staying in a lovely little cabin overlooking the countryside. A table ready booked at a little old fashioned pub. Followed by a day of activities for the next day.
I know I have posted on here before but I just thought it’s an exciting development for the business and a great opportunity for people to have an exciting travel experience now we are coming into summer.

There’s so much to see and do in the UK, but planning a weekend away can be a right stress. So let me do it for you. And the best part of how I do my trips. You won’t know any of it until it plays out. You’ll receive step by step instructions, only finding out the next activity or even the accommodation when you open the next envelope. I’m really excited to see how this business plays out and I really hope some of you would like to give it a try.

A little explanation as to how it works;

Once you reach out via the website and express interest. I send you an in depth questionnaire to tell me the sort of trip you’d like. Budget, interests etc.
I then go away and create a bespoke trip based on this.
The next step is when I come back to you with the complete budget breakdown so you know the exact costs. (This breakdown is ‘filtered’ though so you can see the costs but not what the actually bookings will be)
I then send over a contract to protect myself and the client, this is to cover the money that will be exchanging hands.
Once everything is booked I then start to create the physical package for the trip. This is a series of numbered envelopes, containing clues and riddles etc. You follow these envelopes and enjoy a completely surprise trip.
All that I get out of it is a set fee. For example a weekend trip I charge £50, this is to cover the hours spent creating the trip but also to cover the physical materials used to make and send out the pack.
