[FL] Need help with my hours

Hey all, so first and foremost I am in Florida, I make Hourly with this current job (will explain what I mean shortly).

My main job is a CDL-A Driver for Dollar General Private Fleet, but as of two weeks ago I severely hurt my back; in turn restricts me from driving until I retake my DOT physical.

I am now back in my original position, AGM for my original Dollar General store until my back is better and I pass my DOT Physical.

My scenario is this, I work Monday - Friday 1pm-10pm every week netting 40 hours per week. This is where it’s getting confusing. This week I worked my schedule M-F 40hrs, but my DM wants me to help a store this following Saturday-Monday, 8am-1pm. Saturday and Sh day I will be done by 1, but on Monday I will open a different store from 8am-1pm, but then drive to MY store and close from 1:15-10pm.

Our pay period starts on Saturdays and end Fridays. They told me it will not count as OT even though I’ll be working well over 7 days in a row, and at this rate I’ll have worked Monday 18th to Friday 29th which will be 12 days in a row worked.

My question: Is this legal to not give me OT? Feel free to ask questions and if I have an answer I’ll do my best to explain. Thanks!
