SecureAire Whole House Air Purifier
I just had the A/C checked on my house and asked the technician to wear a mask, of course. He told me about the SecureAire whole house air purifier that would replace the current filter on our A/C unit. This company apparently makes the air purifiers used in operating rooms, and they are now in the residential market. Does anyone have this system in their home and/or know whether it provides good filtration for the Covid virus?
We have a two-story house and have so far avoided overnight guests. Visitors always mask when on the main level of our house. I am wondering whether those visitors could sleep on the other level of our house without a mask if we installed this system—in other words, they would mask when socializing with us but go maskless on a different floor when sleeping. Thoughts?
