Hi! I am an American with Sicilian ancestry! My great grandfather was fully Sicilian, and my (step?) grandfather was an Italian man who would take my mother up to Naples every summer. My great uncle is also an Italian man.
I say all this to prove a connection to Italy but I wonder if it’s enough?
My DNA percentages are spread between: Scottish, Irish, English, Italian, Bavarian, and French. Meaning all of them end up being a decently small percentage (20% at most).
I was wondering if it would be disrespectful to learn and maybe practice Italy’s pre-Christian religious beliefs.
