What’s That Place?
Walking on the streets of Pentagram city, it was a rather mundane afternoon in the realm of hell. The usual explosions being more of background noise and the strong scent of smoke and rot barely makes you recoil. The shards of glass and bits of flesh from a fresh corpse look more like the droppings of a bird than any real concern. Though soon you find yourself on a much cleaner area of the sidewalk. The lingering scent of hell started to dissipate as strong hints of lavender, cedar wood, and lemon zest hit your senses. You find yourself hearing a soft melody of a lady singing, rather than the usual explosions that came with the adrenaline junkies that plagued the streets. Beside you sat one building that seemed to be an outlier to the other buildings around it. Seemingly being the source of what had broke you out of your familiarity of hell. Curious, you take a look to see what had seemingly captured your attention.
What your eyes layed upon was a large three story building with an arch that expanded as wide as the building. It’s second floor peaking above it with its lights shining brightly through its windows as much as the first floor did. Inside it seemed busy, though it was hard to make out what was happening on the second floor. With the third floors lights being off and looking as though it had been completely abandoned. But the first floor made it very clear what this place was. A spa. With its title proudly displayed above the front doors, reading “Hell’s Tide”. That..sounds familiar. You’ve never visited this place yet you felt like maybe you’ve had. Maybe it was one of those places whose name was passed around in conversation. Or possibly appeared while you scrolled online. This definitely looked like the type of place in which people would post on their Sinstagram. With how big the building was, it was evident business was booming for them. The place looked nice and they even went out of their way to make their part of the sidewalk look presentable. It wouldn’t hurt to take a look inside would it?
