Book about man (?) and the repetitiveness in his life, has a dog with name that represents medication, specifically antidepressants
I only read the first or second page but it was about a man (MAYBE a woman, but I think a man) and I think their might’ve been one part about him getting on the train? I think he ends up getting fired or it’s implied (once again, only read one page) but the main part I remember is the dog have a name that represented medication, I think it was slang, something like Xan (I forgot the type of medication). Maybe the dog didn’t represent that, and I’m mistaken. The character is depressed.
The key words I remember that the title might’ve had in it are:
Bandage
Yellow
Tin
Foxtrot (?)
I’m not sure why but when I think of the title those keywords come to mind, it was an older book with a Fyodor/Franz vibe to it, I don’t think it was written by them though. Author might be Russian.
