Bitter taste of failure

I can't force Model B to fail on instruction following! New on DA and finding the learning curve really steep for some projects I've worked on but forcing IF fail has been the toughest. I've had to use the hatch today for the first time and it makes me feel rubbish. I think I get one "free shot" at that before I'm forced to give it up. Am I right in thinking that I could try one more as an unpaid learning experience and simply exit work mode if I can't succeed, thus not claiming time worked and freeing the task for someone better qualified. Or is this bad practice?

Location Sensitivity

I normally work from either my mobile or my home WiFi in Devon, UK. I'm going to Northern Ireland for a couple of weeks. I know there's some sensitivity to location so I'm assuming if I'll be ok to do a little work whilst away, provided I hotspot my Chromebook to my mobile, obviously no VPN. I'm guessing it's no problem as NI is still UK but thought I'd check first. Thanks.

Prompt Writing Refresher

I'm in the process of completing the prompt writing refresher that is on my dashboard, as I've no projects showing up this morning. I started working on this a couple of days ago. I completed the first three challenges on my Pixel phone. The fourth one proved impossible because I couldn't access Openverse to find an image to use. Now I'm sitting in front of my Chromebook, where Openverse works for me. Thing is opening the project on the Chromebook shows no work done for the first three challenges. I'm guessing the input has been stored locally on my phone. Anyway to transfer that data to my Chromebook, or workaround the lack of Openverse access on the phone? Don't really want to start again as the challenges involved an iterative process and I would lose all but the final prompt each time I think.

Apologies

Posted something here a few minutes ago which was not appropriate. Hadn't realised that this forum I'd signed up to was labelled "tech" quite clearly. Newbie error. Sorry to waste someone's time.

Biology Qualification Tasks

Hi, I'm new to DA. Tested late 2025. Onboarded about three weeks ago. I've been getting a small but steady feed of projects to work on, although some days there's nothing. Doesn't matter as I'm not in this for big bucks. I'm actually enjoying the work I'm doing for the mental stimulus it provides. I've a couple of n00b questions though.

1 - do admin mind if you skip a lot to find topics you feel genuinely knowledgeable enough to tackle?

2 - do you ever get direct feedback for qualifications you attempt? I submitted answers for the Biology qualification a week ago but nothing has changed on my dashboard and no messages. It was fairly tricky, and I'm a UK A Level Biology teacher and first class honours graduate. I'd still love to know what I scored, even if it wasn't enough!

3 - is there any non rule breaking forum where n00bs can go to discuss the steep learning curve that is DA? I'm always keen to do a job to the best of my ability but tend to find myself questioning my own output quite a lot on this work. Almost as if I can't quite figure out where the goalposts are. This may be just lack of familiarity.

Grateful for any responses. Cheers.
