A few questions about reviewing nominations

So I just got into wayfarer after being inactive for quite a while. I read all the Criteria Clarification collection, but still got a few questions. I’m adding pics for some of the questions as examples.

  1. Trail Markers: some of those are kinda hard to decide for me, even after reading the clarification.

See pic 1 and 2: I see lots of things like this. Basically just stickers on a lamp post or tree, with a sign or number on them. Eligible or not? Often there are already more of those surrounding the nomination, so I guess some people do approve those. But they all look the same and I don’t really see what’s unique or distinct about those.

Then there is pic 3: I actually have one of those as a pokestop nearby. But the clarification has an example similar to those which says its not eligible since it only provides directions to locations in the city. This one does have information about the distance and direction of bicycle trails, though. Eligible or not?

  1. See pic 4: I’ve seen some of those. It’s basically a street sign with a little bit of information about the person the street was named after. I‘d say no, but not sure. Eligible or not?

  2. Playgrounds: The clarification says the whole playground should be one wayspot, however I see lots of nominations of single items on playgrounds, with also more of those around which already exist. So those single items seem to get approved quite a lot. What do I do with those then? Mark them as duplicate? If so, why do so many of them get approved?

  3. Should I reject a nomination with spelling errors?

  4. If I strongly suspect a nomination for being AI, but there is no way to verify this via google maps, what should I do? I’ve seen an insect hotel which to me kinda looked like AI. It was well done though, if it was AI. Just looked a little bit too perfect. What would you guys do?

  5. I find it hard to decide if a business is generic or not. The clarifications says the submitter should state in the extra infos why the business is special and important for the local community. So if there is nothing in the extra infos, would you just reject things like restaurants, fitness centers, small shops and others? I’m not talking about big chains (e.g. McDonalds, H&M or something like that), since those are obviously generic, I guess.

What‘s wrong with my tomato plant?

I just discovered those spots on my tomato plant. It’s in a planter on the balcony and was doing really well, but suddenly has those spots on the leaves, mostly at the lower ones. What is it and what should I do?
