I traveled to the states to visit a friend and had a status epilepticus incident. I was put on a ventilator and when I woke up it was horrifying. One of my nurses wasn't comforting and kept yelling at me to not panic I'll only make it worse. Thankfully a kind nurse came in to tell me to picture nice things but each time that nurse came back he would just tighten my wrist mitten things tighter. Took them 2 hours to get approval from the doctor to remove the tubes, by that time I coughed/gagged up the ng tube.
The level of soreness my body is experiencing is something i have never experienced and it's not from the seizure. My sternum is so badly bruised it looks like I got punched, fom pain stimuli sternum rubbing along with large dark bruises on my inner thighs from ems pinching them? (Is that common here?)
I slept the night fine and then the next morning I was set for discharge. I feel awful, my chest hurts so badly even when I breathe. My jaw can barely open and when I cough it's painful. I have a fever and just want to go home. (Sorry for any mistakes english is hard)
