TIU Vs. APU Ritsumeikan / other Uni's

I am applying for the spring semester of university in Japan and wanted to know how the reputation of TIU is? I saw a few posts from a few years ago saying that its reputation was a "pay tuition = degree" and nothing beyond that and wanted to know if that's still the case to this day? I saw they built a new campus right next door to the Sunshine Aquarium (yes that's how I remember where it is lol) and so wanted to see if it's gotten better as their standard deviation is still around 35.

This is a second part but I also applied to APU for their fall and didn't get in, I believe this to be because of not doing my interview to the best of my ability and worse grades (for that time) and so re-applying with better knowledge this time. Is it worth just only applying to APU and not at all TIU? And is there any other E-track programs that y'all recomend? I have researched Waseda, Sophia, and Keio but their time frames won't be for spring (and are pretty expensive to apply)

I want to go mainly for the experience of learning abroad and new perspective (as being a US citizen is not is currently) . I have done a Complete 35 page independent research (which as far as I have seen is really good for applications) and am about to graduate with 3 degrees / AA's ./I always worry of whether or not I have done enough to compete in those highly completive schools like Sophia so if TIU is not it lmk any other universities I may have a shot at ! (Applying for anything Business/Economics related.)

Chance to get into Japan Uni’s

I am applying to schools in the summer and am having a bad time at evaluating myself if I can get in or not. I always undervalue myself and my work so I choose to ask Reddit what yall think my chances may be.

I am a male, first gen (whether that matters over there or not 🤷‍♂️) dual enrollment student. I have taken enough classes to be graduating this year with 3 AA’s (one multiple subjects, one social science cultural studies/history, an one LA with business Emphasis)

Intended Major(s):Business/economic tracks (depending on which school and what they offer)

Sat score:1300
Unweighted: 2.7 (I believe)
Gpa weighted 3.6 (final gpa soon)
No rank system within my school (for the sake of student sanity according to administrators)

Coursework: Won’t get too much into dual (as it’s too many classes to count except the 3 AA,
4’s on APLAC, AP-Precalc and APSUH
Just took APMacro and APGov and hopefully with get a 4 in at least one

Awards: As of now Ap scholar award (but once new scores come out it may become ap scholar with distinction)

Extracurriculars: SPL of local Scout group for a year
Treasurer for local art club and Spanish club
-actually when out and fundraiser for Spanish club for folkorico costumes and raised $4,000 to get all clothing
Did FULL research project (literature review to doing survey and presenting findings to panel) my final paper is gonna be about 30-40 pages once finalized
(It was on whether or not nostalgia affects the volatility of pokemon cards in the market)

Essays: Each college required them and so far feel pretty strong about mine. Got one LOR already and gunning for 2 more for a total of three for all universities applying to.

Schools: Wasedo E Track (specially school of political science and economics) acceptance rate (as of last year) was ~32%
Sophia University (Faculty of Economics (27-37% for international))
APU ritsumeikan (business school (commit to accept 50/50 applicants))
TIU (Busniess E-Track (37%~50)
Now because it’s Japan they put more focus on grades (which kinda scared me) and more on independent studies (which my research paper fills that in) but still wanted views on my chances. I applied to local schools in California (CSUMB,CSJSU,CSULB) and got into 2 (first two). Since it’s Japan which is different than Us and what they prioritize I don’t expect the best chances but still wanted yall views. Thank you!
