I (16M) have an ugly and unidentifiable scar.
Age: 16
Approximate height: 5’2
Approximate weight: 85-90 lbs
(I’m pretty scrawny.)
Gender/Sex: Male
Medications: Lexapro, I believe 15 mg.
I dont smoke or drink, I dont have any known physical medical issues. Ive had this scar for maybe about 9 weeks and I’ve seen it go through multiple stages of healing. It started off as a cut on my shoulder that was deep enough to see subcutaneous fat. I believe it’s still healing since it was pretty deep and I’ve heard scars can take years to heal. Even then I can always feel it stinging and hurting underneath. No matter how much I search I can’t figure out what type of scar it is and how I can treat it. It feels thick with a thin, wrinkled layer on top. It isn’t raised at all. The surrounding skin around it has darkened a bit and i can see veins forming underneath. It’s also pretty sensitive. I don’t know how to treat it and I don’t even know what it is. I know that identifying it isn’t the most important thing but it would make me feel a lot better also.
