Do you partake in the design process of parts? Like using solidworks or AutoCAD or is it strictly reserved for MEs? Do you have a say in how a product is manufactured specifically in manufacturing process like welding for example.
So basically I want to focus or learn the skills needed at a typical IE job. what methods or skills do you use from your IE undergrad ? and what skills did you have to learn to complement your education?
Did you get math technical? and what technical skills do you use on a daily basis in a manufacturing enviroment or a service Industry you're currently working at. I'm gathering some insights and data, so I could focus on these skills as I'm 1 semester away from graduation. Thankyou for taking time to answer these questions.
