Gold chain snatched
PSA for anyone wearing valuable jewelry to concerts: PLEASE BE CAREFUL.
My gold chain was snatched off me at a concert. This happened at the 10/7/26 esdee concert at palladium LA. I had worn this chain every single day from the moment I bought it. It was expensive, and I worked really hard to be able to afford it, so losing it has been genuinely heartbreaking.
I was there to enjoy the concert, not constantly worry about someone stealing from me.
So please take this as a warning: there are people snatching chains, especially when you're in a packed crowd, people are bumping into you, and your attention is on the show.
If you're going to a concert with a valuable chain, necklace, bracelet, or watch, seriously consider leaving it at home or wearing something inexpensive that you're not emotionally or financially attached to. Keep valuables secured and be especially aware when you're in dense crowds.
I know there's a lot of “just don't wear expensive jewelry” advice, but sometimes you don't realize how vulnerable you are until it actually happens to you.
I wouldn't wish this feeling on anyone. Please be careful out there and look out for each other.
