Kyrgyzstan eVisa: Does the 30-day validity start from approval date or intended travel date?

I’m planning a trip to Kyrgyzstan and I’m confused about how the Kyrgyz eVisa validity works.

On the official eVisa website, I found these statements:

  1. Tourist visa (TS) is issued for a period up to 30 days.
  2. Tourist visa (TS) is issued with a validity of up to 30 calendar days.
  3. In the FAQ, they say:
    • Validity period = the first and last dates during which the visa can be used.
    • Duration of stay = the number of days you are allowed to remain in Kyrgyzstan.
    • They also state that the validity period is generally longer than the duration of stay.

This is where I’m confused.

If the tourist visa itself has a validity of up to 30 days, but the FAQ says the validity period is generally longer than the duration of stay, then:

  • Does the 30-day validity start from the date the visa is approved?
  • Or does it start from the intended entry date that I specify in the application?
  • Can I request a future start date? For example, if I apply in July for a trip starting on 10 September, can the visa be issued in July but become valid from 10 September?
  • Or does the 30-day clock start immediately once the visa is granted?

So my main question is:

For the Kyrgyz tourist eVisa, does the validity period start from the approval date, or from the intended entry date entered in the application?

I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who has recently obtained a Kyrgyz eVisa and can share what dates were shown on their visa.
