My Officially Unofficial MLP Regular Season Awards

My Officially Unofficial MLP Regular Season Awards

Hey guys!

I feel it's a darn shame MLP only releases two regular season awards, so I decided to give out 10 in the following categories:

MVP
Most Improved (LAST SEASON to THIS SEASON - no rookies)
Rookie of the Year
Dreambreaker Clutch God of the Year
Impact Player of the Year (basically hardest carry)
Crashout of the Year
GM of the Year
Trade of the Year
Moment of the Year
Most Annoying Bench

Who would you pick in each of these categories? Rookie of the year in particular is tough... if you want to see my picks you can read my newsletter or watch my YouTube video! (if you subscribe to either I'll love you forever). Let's discuss!

An aerial backhand attack is becoming NECESSARY at higher levels, even for women. There’s pokes, flicks, rolls … pokes aren’t really that worth working on (in my opinion), but can be effective sparingly.

Pure BH roll:

- a lot of shoulder lift

- not much wrist

- Federico Staksrud best example !!

Pure BH flick:

- almost all wrist activity

- JW Johnson best example !!

Most people are somewhere in between the two, and I think a pure roll is easier to learn than a flick and then you can add in wrist from there.

What shot do you hit more of? Why?

If you wanna know more about my thoughts on the two shots and their differences, you can watch this video here: It’s 2026 YOU NEED A BACKHAND FLICK
