Ok, I’ve lived with this song for the last 26 years and have never been able to nail down what she is ad-libbing at the very end at 3:27 and had an epiphany today that she’s saying “I turn to Ron Fair whenever you’re not there” 🤯 Ron Fair was, of course, the Executive Producer & A&R for the recording for those who don’t know.

Mind blown, mystery solved 😆
