Does any dance fanatic know the name of a dance I am searching for?
It's a dance I have seen performed by the Nederlands Danstheater in the Lucent Danstheater in The Hague, in the year 1998, 1999 or 2000. I think there were 6 to 8 dancers, dressed like monks. The dance starts in darkness and very very slowly you could see something as if it was far away. It was slowly getting lighter, and the dancers were moving very slowly, coming forward in slow motion. In the middle part they were really dancing (modern) and in the final part they were moving towards the back of the stage again in slow motion, while it was getting dark again. They were wearing sandy or white/brownish clothes, and the dance lasted around 15 to 20 minuten I think.
I was so impressed by this dance, but cannot find it anymore. Anyone has an idea?
