[iOS + Android] Anneal - workout tracker that knows when to deload (looking for testers)
Hey r/AlphaandBetausers,
Anneal is a workout tracker I've been building for iOS and Android. It's
in open beta on both stores now. The differentiator I've put the most
effort into is the deload system - it actually tells you when to back off.
Under the hood:
- 8-trigger deload evaluator that watches mesocycle length, ACWR
overreach, grinding detection (via RIR), missed-rate patterns,
stagnation, and scheduled cycles
- Profile-driven workout generator (9-question onboarding tunes goal /
experience / equipment / split / days per week)
- RIR-aware progressive overload, double progression, E1RM-tracked PRs
- Tracks lifting, cardio, mobility, bodyweight, and timed holds in one log
- Local-first SQLite on device; optional cloud backup; multi-device sync
(Pro features all unlocked during beta)
How to get in: anneal.fit/r/redab1 - drop your email and the install
links land in your inbox (TestFlight for iOS, Play Closed Testing for
Android). The Android side auto-adds you to the Closed Testing group, so
the link works the moment the email lands.
Feedback I'd want most:
Does the 9-question onboarding feel reasonable, or too long?
When the deload suggestion fires, does it feel well-timed or random?
Anything that crashes or feels janky on your device?
There's a feedback button in the tab bar that goes straight to me.
Thanks for taking a look.
