I bought apartment in 2018 and yet Aqood not issued and in 2025 I requested for refund
Case as under ---note- project now 3rd time under cancellation-- as far as i know that we cant proceed this case in court because project is under cancellation-
if developer already escaped from dubai then do we can get back from the government or how can we check that developer still in dubai or not

**Timeline & Key Facts:**
* **2018:** I purchased an apartment from the developer. The *Aqood* (contract) was never registered — the developer offered “DLD fee off” as a trick
* **2018–2025:** The apartment was **never delivered**. The developer repeatedly delayed and misled me with false promises and misleading documents. * **Payments:** I paid **AED around
143,000*AED* in total.
* **Refund Agreement:** On **4 June 2025**, the developer signed an agreement to refund **AED 150,000** (including compensation) within **90 days**. * **As of 4 October 2025**, the refund period expired — **lied again and no payment received**. * On (4 Oct 2025), the developer sent another document to sign. Upon review, I found it was **another deceptive document** attempting to waive my rights or mislead me, so I refused to sign.
* The developer has used **multiple deceptive tactics** since 2018 to delay, manipulate documents, and exploit my trust.
**Relief Sought:**
Full **refund of paid amount and on top of that
**Additional compensation** for:
* 7 years of delay and financial loss. * Mental distress and fraudulent conduct.
Legal action against the developer for **fraudulent behavior** and **breach of contract**
Now want to proceed case but I have no lawyer fees but I am willing to pay as win case BUT AS FAR AS I KNOW THAT WE CANT GO TO COURT TO FILE A CASE AS PROJECT IS UNDER CANCELLATION.
