Turning a tight, blank backyard corner into a luxurious Mediterranean-modern night oasis. The lighting was everything here !!!
Core Concept: 'Luxury & Absolute Relaxation'.
Our biggest challenge was the limited space. How to fit a generous-sized pool without making it feel cramped? The secret was the strategic blending of three key design elements: Lighting, Landscaping, and Materials.
Secret 1: The Art of Lighting (The Night Magic)
Look at the contrast in the video. We didn't just flood the yard with even light.
- Warm Up-lighting (3000K): We used warm lighting on the smooth white walls and the mature tree in the back. This adds depth and highlights textures.
- Cool Cyan Underwater LED: Powerful LED lights illuminate from the pool floor. It makes the water look incredibly clear and crisp blue, a perfect contrast to the warmth around it.
Secret 2: Landscaping as the 'Soul of the Space'
Instead of a long row of uniform low bushes, we chose a single, large, spreading tree as the central focal point behind the pool. This tree acts as a 'visual anchor,' drawing the eye and making a new build feel instantly mature and natural.
Secret 3: The Subtlety of Materials
- We selected grey/cyan mosaic tiles for the pool interior to create a natural, gemstone-like water color instead of the common 'public pool' blue.
- The smooth white enclosure walls create a perfect 'canvas' for the lighting design
Every detail, from the wall-wash angles to the waterfall weir slope, was meticulously executed by my Team to ensure the final result matched the render. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing our clients enjoy this space.
