Anyone else get anxiety checking their credit after identity theft?
A few months ago someone opened an account in my name and honestly it’s been stressing me out ever since. I froze my reports and disputed the account, but now every time I get a notification or random email I immediately think someone’s using my information again. The worst part is realizing how vulnerable your credit actually is once this happens. I started paying way closer attention to my reports and found old accounts, inaccurate info, and things I probably never would’ve noticed before. At this point I feel like constantly monitoring everything is the only thing giving me peace of mind. Is there some alert I can put on this or some other measures I can take to kinda feel less stressed out about it!
