Hi everyone, really enjoying seeing your projects here. I’m planning my own hempcrete house in North-East Europe (Latvia). External walls will be ~400 mm thick (hempcrete + 200 mm frame). Now I’m trying to figure out interior walls (between bedrooms, living spaces). My initial idea is to make 100mm thick frame (studs every 500~600mm) and add hempcrete to fill 150mm thickness. But I’m unsure about sound insulation. Is a ~150 mm hempcrete wall enough for sound insulation between rooms? Would you recommend going with a double wall system instead? I’m trying to keep everything natural, (no drywall). Would really appreciate input from people who have actually built and lived with it!
