Driving test failed first time at the end :(

Driving test failed first time at the end :(

I had my first test today, it was going well the whole time until the last two miles before i had to return to the centre.

As i approached a roundabout, I saw that the right was clear and I was okay to go through, however I was faulted because i was going at 20mph, even the examiner said he knows i checked and saw it was clear but i was too fast.

The second serious was just after the roundabout where I got onto a 50 mph dual carriageway, i made a minor for not merging right soon enough (i think that was where my only minor was made but unsure) but i kinda got flustered for a bit, i continued onwards though and was able to get into the middle lane travelling at a decent speed - until th instructor pointed out the dual carriageway was slowing and I had not slowed down for the 40mph sign at all.
5 minutes later we pull upto the test centre as he drops the bad news.

It’s clear that I could drive well most of the time but me being flustered for something that I knew already and rushing causes me issues and it’s upsetting for it to be at the end of a test too.

What else would you do to reflect? I’m mainly annoyed I failed because of how hard it is to get a driving test, the next one i can get as of now is in 5 months :/
